不推荐购买该型号网卡,目前驱动支持尚不成熟(2017-08-02)

在Kali Rolling 2017.1(Linux KaliRolling 4.9.0-kali4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.30-2kali1 (2017-06-22) x86_64 GNU/Linux)上测试,默认驱动无法启用该网卡。

经过Google:WNDA3100v3 Kaliwikidevi上查到了目前的可用Linux驱动jurobystricky/Netgear-A6210

对照jurobystricky/Netgear-A6210上的页面说明手工编译驱动:

从上述信息可知,该网卡驱动目前暂时不支持monitor模式。

尝试ifconfig wlan0 up,提示SIOCSIFFLAGS: Operation not permitted,阅读了jurobystricky/Netgear-A6210的每一条issue,没有得到肯定的解决方案,倒是看到有人遇到了和我相似的问题。

改用源代码编译的方式再尝试:

cd /usr/src/netgear-a6210-2.5.0 && make
sudo make install

此时可以通过ifconfig wlan0 up启用无线网卡了!但进一步测试表明,该网卡的AP模式和managed / STA模式支持还是有bug,无法正常工作。在无线网卡处于连接状态下,执行ifconfig -aiw list等无线网卡枚举类操作都会导致操作无响应。只要一断开网卡连接,则一切恢复正常。

根据jurobystricky/Netgear-A6210 Success stories! #14上的信息,该网卡驱动在Gentoo Linux, kernel 3.18.9-gentoo、Ubuntu 16.04上均有成功案例反馈。

Ubuntu 16.04.1Linux linux-sys 4.4.0-66-generic #87-Ubuntu SMP Fri Mar 3 15:29:05 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux)上再次测试编译驱动,DKMS方式编译的驱动同Kali上的编译效果一样:无法启用网卡。直接源代码编译静态驱动的方式,可以成功启用网卡。

iw dev wlan0 scan

可以通过上述方式成功扫描探测附近的无线网络。但在实际使用过程中,该网卡驱动还是会经常导致整个系统卡死。
